Vendors
As the name "market" suggests, the trade of vendors is central to the history and heritage of the German Christmas Market.
For this year's event in Nashville, approximately 25 stands will be available for rent by vendors of traditional German holiday food and drink specialities (bratwurst, gingerbread cake, fruit, nuts, pastries, other baked goods, beer, and glühwein) and handicrafts (wooden Christmas ornaments, dolls, nutcrackers, and puppets).
Our plans currently envision 5 to 10 vendors from Magdeburg and other parts of Germany with the remainder (15 to 20) from Tennessee and other parts of the United States. Setup of vendor stands is scheduled to begin on Thursday, November 20, about one week prior to the opening of the Christmas Market.
